We have volunteer mentors working for the charity all over the English speaking world. They are professionals from the BME community that want to give something back in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Our mentors our providing an excellent professional mentoring service to the BME community. Following an assessment of the client needs, our mentors undergo a matching process to ensure they are able to meet the needs of the client. Mentors not only monitor the mental health of individuals, they also share the life experiences of how they have gained success in their lives.
We at Blacklivesmentored believe black lives matter and want to see real change in their lives that will add value to our communities.
Mentoring those that are in need will promote social mobility, inclusion and prosperity. We take the view that no BME person has truly gained success until we have all gained success.
Training:
To keep our mentors up to date with current legislation, policies and procedures we are providing them with ongoing training and peer supervision.
